The role of a corporate website is changing. It is no longer just an online business card, but an entry point for brand presentation, content hosting, and business interaction. Based on this judgment, starting in 2019, we worked with Weiqidian to iterate through three generations of our responsive website building system.
V3: Get the foundation right first
V3 solved the foundational problem: building a flexible, extensible framework. It introduced adaptive layouts and responsive design, so the same set of pages displays properly on computers, tablets, and phones; at the same time, it provided the most basic component library—text, images, buttons—so that users without a technical background could also build a complete website structure.
V4: Make the experience richer
V4 built on V3 to fill in interaction and performance. Common interactions such as carousels, collapsible menus, and pop-up windows were turned into components, and page loading speed was also optimized. At the same time, we began integrating industry plugins—e-commerce, home services, and more—so businesses no longer had to develop separately for specific operations.
V5: Let non-professional users create professional pages too
V5 added several capabilities we value most. First, intelligent design assistance: automatic layout and color scheme suggestions, lowering the barrier to layout. Second, strengthened SEO capabilities, making websites easier to find in search engines. Third, industry plugins continued to expand, with new directions such as recruitment, course training, wedding services, and travel.
The backend matters just as much
Beyond the front-end presentation, we place great importance on the ease of use of the backend. Customers manage content, view traffic data, and handle user messages through the backend—if the backend is hard to use, no matter how beautiful the front end is, it won't retain users.
Results
So far, this responsive website solution has served nearly a thousand businesses. The number is not the end point, but it shows that one judgment is correct: a business's website building need ultimately comes down to explaining its own business clearly with peace of mind.
