In 2024, we narrowed our focus even further: we do only web design.
This isn't a case of doing less business—it's about concentrating the attention that was previously scattered onto a single thing. We believe that what allows a company to survive over the long term isn't being able to do everything, but doing one specific thing more meticulously than others.
How we understand "design"
Web design isn't just about making a page look pretty. It has to solve three problems: what visitors see at first glance, whether they are willing to trust this company, and where they should click next.
So in our design process, early communication and content organization often take more time than drawing the visuals. There are no shortcuts for these judgments—they can only be honed project by project.
Sharing our experience
This year we also did something we'd never done before: we started creating content. On Douyin, WeChat Channels, and Bilibili, we share practical design tips, break down case studies, and answer questions from viewers.
The purpose is straightforward—information asymmetry in the design industry is severe, and many business owners get confused by the words "web design." We want to explain these things clearly so that clients know what to look for when choosing a service provider.
An unexpected gain was the large amount of genuine feedback we received in the comments; some of those questions have in turn influenced our design judgments.
About the future
Our thinking hasn't changed: seek truth, be pragmatic, innovate. Design is a slow industry, and the work has to stand the test of time. We will continue to put our energy into this one thing.
