Personal Portfolio Website Development Case Study: An Individual’s Storefront

Before graduation, a design student decided to turn herself into a website too—Zhang Huifan's Personal Website, which serves as both a portfolio and a self-introduction. Small as it is, the personal site is complete in every detail, and it was designed and developed by the HOLYPro team.

Client and Task

This is the personal website of a design student about to graduate — "Zhang Huifan's Personal Website." Standing at the crossroads of a new chapter in life, turning yourself into a page that can be forwarded is the most dignified self-investment for graduation season. The website was designed and developed by us.

PC and mobile homepage

First screen: Dark and Rainbow

The hero section opens over a dark polka-dot background, with a rainbow-gradient 3D avatar centered and the signature-style tagline “Write with Measure, Communicate with Heart” placed beside it; ABOUT ME is carried by a large portrait, and the bold white lettering on the purple block is crisp and clean. The original cover image is exactly this opening.

Brand image key visual

Photo Waterfall and Inscription

The middle section is a photo waterfall wall—life, stage, travel, and everyday light and shadow arranged grid by grid, letting the images answer "what kind of person I am" for themselves; the footer lands on the site name and social icons, while the 300+ visit counter quietly records how many times this door has been pushed open.

personal facade

A personal website doesn't need to be big and all-encompassing; what it needs is to be "remembered at a glance": one image, one signature line, one photo wall — and that's enough.

Turning yourself into a site is the most earnest résumé a graduate can give themselves.
